Star Trek 50th
The science fiction phenomenon celebrates 50 years this year, a monumental milestone for a show that first premiered on TV sets on September 8, 1966. The story of the crew of the starship Enterprise, “boldly seeking new life and new civilizations” as it travels through space, changed the cultural landscape in so many ways, it’s hard to imagine a world without it. Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Sulu, Chekov, Scotty, and Uhura, have become iconic characters for all time.
