    Movie Review: Thor: Ragnarok

The 3rd and final installment (We think) to the Thor Franchise. The previous films marginally impressed the audiences so I wonder was the 180 million dollar budget and new director Taika Waititi enough? By the way, Taika directed the Green Lantern. But had a success in Moana! No pressure. “Imprisoned on the other side of the universe, the mighty Thor finds himself in a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against the Hulk, his former ally and fellow Avenger. Thor's quest

    TV Review: The Punisher

‘After the murder of his family, Marine veteran Frank Castle became a vigilante known as "The Punisher" with only one goal in mind - to avenge them. With his revenge now complete, Frank's war-time past comes back to haunt him. ‘ IMDb rating 9.1/10 Metacritic 54% Rotten Tomatoes 61% So it is finally here! Even though Todd and I thought this was being released a week earlier than it actually was. The time for The Punisher has come to us all courtesy of N

Movie Review: Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 2

I have been waiting for this film the moment the first volume concluded in the theatre. Mainly because GOTG was new and fresh to me. It is very rare for me to go into these type of films cold, but I was willing to take the risk. Plus the MountainMan giving the original film a high rating (because he is a stickler for films), means it clearly blew his mind. So the team returns but with even more Star Power. But was it too much? “Peter Quill and his fellow Guardians are hired b

    TV Review: Iron Fist

Let’s get something straight, I don’t think Ironfist was a bad show at all. A lot of critics attacked the show because they claimed it was “white-washing” and etc. I don’t think that was the issue of the show whatsoever. This isn’t the first time that race and/or gender was changed on a character(Michael Clarke Duncan as Kingpin), maybe it should be about the lack of chemistry that this show had. I wrote the articles for Daredevil Season 2(A.J took season 1), Jessica Jones an

    TV Review: Iron Fist

So we have had the next installment of Marvel Netflix series drop recent in the form of Iron Fist. Now Iron Fist started off with some horrible reviews and flak from critics and I could only take it with a grain of salt because they were griping that the actor (Finn Jones) was white. It just goes to show how much the critics pay attention or how many of them have read an Iron Fist comic in their lives because wait hold on… He is white! Morons. I could rant further but I w

    Movie Review: Logan

This is not a spoiler free review. So, if you haven’t seen the film yet, stop ready now. Seriously, If I see you bitched about the fact this movie was somewhat ruined, I will show up to your house with a pillowcase full of knobs. Then, I will repeatedly beat the stupidity out of you. No joke. And don’t bring your kids to this movie. Idiots. So the Swan Song for the most popular X-Men of all time has finally be released and on top of it, as a Rated R film. Directed by the amaz

The Rated R Wolverine film we wanted

Never in 14646465145615656416 years, did I ever think that the kid friendly Marvel gloves would come off and we would see Logan in his full bloody fury. First off, we need to thank Ryan Reynolds and the Dead pool team. Let's be honest, it was because the major success because it was Rated R and even after it took a huge hit to production because FOX didn't believe in it. And here we are. Months away from the last Wolverine film. I find it quite sad in away because, it wasn't

    Movie Review: Doctor Strange

Now, I will say this and get it out of the way. Doctor Strange was the second worst comic book movie that I saw in 2016. And it is not because I did not like the film, but 2016 was a great year for comic books! But of course, Batman V Superman was the worst. I felt Suicide Squad just beat Doctor Strange, probably because of the spot character portrayals! Now, I will say I know very little of Doctor Strange. Short of cross overs and huge “wars,” I never really read any of Doct

    TV Review: Luke Cage

Our 3rd entry into the Marvel and Netflix relationship was released on September 30th. People have been literally salivating for this series since they released the 4 – 5 minute fight scene last month. Plus, with the winning streak this relationship has had, how could you go wrong? Now, I am not going to be as in depth as I was for the Daredevil Season 2 review. I released after I built the bloody page that it was A LOT to take in. So I am just going to talk about my impressi

    Movie Review: Civil War

Truly, it is my fault that some of the trolling on our Facebook page has occurred. But at the end of the day, people need to realize it is just a movie. Awhile back, I posted an article about Steven Spielberg stating that the Comic Book Movies will eventually go the way of the spaghetti westerns. Dead. Now, at that time, I disagreed but within in the last 6 months I have seen more lack of common sense remarks and kneejerk reactions to these films that is now swaying my opinio
